A New Year - A New Beginning

We hope all of you had a wonderful 2005. Ours was one filled with new beginnings. We finished the construction of our new home in El Salvador, which we named "Cielo y Tierra" (Heaven and Earth). We are located at an altitude over 5000 ft. above sea level, and thus, the name. At this altitude the clouds, the coffee and the stars are our neighbors. We wish all of you can visit with us in the near future and discover the beauty of this small country.

Technology has also arrived here, and we are now connected to the internet and to satellite TV. Mail is extremely slow, so the internet would be the best way to reach us: wj.khoury@gmail.com or susie.khoury@gmail.com.

John recently retired from Honeywell and quickly I was able to give him new projects at home. He thinks I am a much tougher boss!

Lisa and Philip celebrated their First Wedding Anniversary on July 3, and we were so happy to have them with us during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Michael celebrated Christmas with us and is staying through the New Year. Michael and Lisa work and live in the San Francisco Bay area (berkeley), but they were the encouraging force for us to build here. They love to vacation here...as they can surf or climb mountains in a matter of hours.
