Michael and Andrea's Reception at Cielo y Tierra

On December 27th, 2009 we held a party at Cielo y Tierra celebrating Michael and Andrea's Civil Wedding. We were so happy to have many of our Family and Friends attend the celebration. There was a lot of love, happiness, good food and friendship. May they have a lifetime of happiness!!

OUR FAMILY

We want to welcome each and everyone that visits this blog. We have tried to include everyone that has come to visit in the last year. We are only halfway through 2007, so we hope that many more of you will pay us a visit and discover this lovely corner of the world.

FAMILY IS A WONDERFUL GIFT

We were delighted to have Don John's (Wadie) cousins visiting from different parts of the world. John and Nadia Joubran from New Jersey and West Palm; Najwa Bateh from Birmingham and Nadeem and Afaf from Houston and Lebanon. It seemed that the whole time we were enjoying each other's company, discovering and travelling throughout El Salvador and neighboring Guatemala.

We enjoyed the beauty of each sunrise and sunset, the wonderful food, and learning new things: poker and enough Spanish to get by.

CHEPE HASBUN

This photo was taken January, 2007. We were enjoying a true middle-eastern brunch with family and friends.

Chepe Hasbun (seated lower right) passed away May 29th of this year. We will always remember him with great affection. He was a great Husband, Father, Son, Pilot and Friend.

FRIENDS ARE THE FAMILY WE CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES

In March of 2007, we were delighted to welcome in our home our dear friends from Braniff's days, Gerry and AnnaBelle Gorman and Jim and Jean Meyer. It was great reminiscing about the wonderful past and taking pleasure in creating new memories.

Also, we were joined by our great friends from Our Children's Store, Katy and Roger Christensen from Las Vegas and Terri Miller from Dallas. Most of these beautiful pictures in this segment were taken by Dr. Roger, who certainly has "the knack." He quickly diagnosed John as suffering from the same ailment! Katy, Terri and I just enjoyed every precious moment that we were together.
